Looking at stats for conference games is always interesting...

- Tempo-Based Stats for Conference Play
A few interesting things I noticed from these stats...
- UNC's has the highest turnover % at nearly 28% while Virginia has the lowest at just 13.5%. FSU, BC, and Virginia Tech also have turnover percentages above 20.
- The top 3 teams in terms of Efficiency Margin are Duke, Virginia, and Maryland. The same three lead in eFG%.
- It's not suprising to see Kyle Singler and Jon Scheyer at first and third respectively in +/- per game, but second and fourth may surprise you. Jerai Grant of Clemson is second while Julius Mays is fourth.
- Malcolm Delaney leads in scoring in conference play with 25.7 points per game. Not bad for a guy that almost didn't play in his conference opener.
- Usage rates are no surprise, as Vasquez, Landesberg, and Delaney lead the way.
- Maryland and Virginia's successful starts may largely be attributed to their 3 point shooting, as they rank 1st and 2nd. Despite their reputation Duke ranks 2nd to last in 3 point shooting in conference games.
