What’s at Stake?:
Wake Forest probably has more to play for, largely because of what lies ahead. Lose to Maryland with Duke and UNC looming and the Deacs face the prospect of a 1-4 mark in league play. The Terps, who struggled through non-conference play, are coming off a big win over FSU in their ACC opener but have yet to grab much respect or attention nationally. Beat a talented team like Wake Forest on the road and that will begin to change.
