Boston College's 2009 football campaign came to an end tonight with a loss to Southern California. Despite the 24-13 score BC was very much in this game and was only a couple of key plays away from taking a lead.
Without a doubt BC fans should view this season as a success. An 8-5 record with a rookie head coach and freshman quarterback is nothing to look down upon. The Eagles have plenty to build upon and hopefully with the return of Mark Herzlich we will be back again next season to compete for the ACC title. The focus next year should be on the improvement and progression of Dave Shinskie.
Congrats to all the players and coaches and a big thanks to all the fans who attended the game.
