Boston College Tries Out New Lineup

Boston College handled Bryant Sunday 72-46, but the bigger story was the new starting lineup coach Skinner tried out, one that he will apparently experiment with for at least a couple of games.

The Old Lineup:
5- Southern
4- Trapani
3- Raji
2- Jackson/Sanders
1- Paris

New Lineup:
5- Trapani
4- Raji
3- Sanders
2- Jackson
1- Paris

This lineup is interesting and I am eager to see if it's more effective than their old one. The positives of this fresh lineup are more speed, more offensive weapons, and more ball handlers. On the negative side, this lineup obviously has less height, which isn't so much a problem in the rebounding department, as this team rebounds pretty well regardless of size, but it will create some mismatches on the defensive end. Raji will most likely have to cover forwards 4 inches or so taller than him, playing at the 4.

While I don't know if this will work against ACC foes, it is a nice idea by the staff to try to mix some things up.
