Ginyard to miss Presbyterian game
Marcus Ginyard will be held out of Saturday's game against Presbyterian for precautionary reasons due to soreness in his foot. Per UNC, the injury is unrelated to the condition that forced him to miss most of last season...
"Marcus has some `early' pain in his left foot in an area unrelated to the stress fracture he had last year in his fifth left metatarsal," says Dr. Tom Brickner. "We are putting him through an evaluation at this time, but preliminary tests are encouraging. He does not have a fracture."
Andre Dawkins Update
Per a tweet by Duke Basketball Report, Andre Dawkins will return to practice on Saturday. Dawkins went home to spend time with his family after his sister was killed in a car accident.
