Tony Bennett announced today that Jamil Tucker has taken a leave of absence from the team. Tucker will not practice or play in any games while he is away from the team.
With Tucker's absence and Assane Sene's recent suspension of 3 games, Virginia is left with a very small team. Most likely Mike Scott and Jerome Meyinsee will start in the post, but the frontcourt depth is minimal after those two. Freshman Tristan Spurlock and junior Will Sherill will likely get an opportunity for minutes as well.
