Boston College's top basketball recruit Rod Odom has verbally committed to the Arizona Wildcats today. Odom had been to BC several times and just took his official visit to Chestnut Hill this past weekend. Odom is a unanimous top-100 caliber player and plays high school at Middlesex School in Concord, Ma.
While I'm sure fans are bummed about this its important to understand this simple fact: BC will win without him. The truth of the matter is that Al Skinner has demonstrated he is capable of competing and winning with under recruited and inferior talent. The Eagles will move on to bigger and better things.
