Northeastern-BC Depth Chart
Aside from the focus on the Boston College QB spot ( where both Tuggle and Marscovetra are listed as the starters), there is plenty to look forward to regarding the depth chart.
There are 6 freshman listed on the defensive two-deep. Luke Keuchly was named starting middle linebacker despite Will Thompson getting most of the reps this spring. Alexander DiSanzo has emerged as the starting WLB after a strong summer.
Jim Noel is listed as the backup strong safety. This is surprising considering most thought he would red-shirt to put on some weight this year.
Offensively, Emmett Cleary locked up the sole vacancy on the offensive line. He should fill in nicely at left guard. Panatale is listed as the starting tight end which come as no shock after a great showing in the off-season.
Former tight ends Lars Anderson and Jordon McMichael are listed as the fullbacks. This likely means that Tranquill will be using them as sort of an H-back. They will be more of a hybrid pass-catching fullback than a traditional blocking back.
