Canadian guard Brady Heslip has verbally committed to BC after a visit to campus.
Heslip is a tremendous outside shooter and will likely fill the point guard needs for the 2010 recruiting class. Heslip joins Kevin Noreen among BC's commitments for 2010.
Here is what I wrote about Heslip back in July when he received an offer from Coach Skinner:
Brady Heslip, a point guard from Ontario, Canada, has burst onto the scene after a stellar performance in a recent AAU Tournament. Heslip emerged from the showcase with several D-1 offers, including one from Boston College. Heslip has a reputation as a lights out shooter
Heslip has originally committed to play basketball at a school in Canada but has apparently de-committed and may re-classify to the class of 2010.
ESPN thinks very highly of him, giving him a 93 rating:
July, 2009: Brady was a relative unknown prior to this tournament (Adidas It Takes 5ive Classic). He walked away with at least 10 mid-to-high D-I scholarship offers. Brady is a skilled scoring point guard that can shoot with range to 22 feet. He can also create his own shot off the dribble. Brady can create for his teammates also. He can penetrate in the lane and kick to open teammates. He was a major factor in the tournament and will be one of the heavily recruited point guards in this class based off his performance here.
