According to this ranking of all D-1 (FBS) programs Boston College comes in at #32 with $61,203,340 in revenue, ahead of notable programs like Oregon, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Miami, and Florida State. They are also ranked above every single Big East program.
Considering BC has a pretty small stadium that barely sells out, a relatively smaller fan and alumni base, and plays in a pro-sports city, this figure is extremely impressive. This is a credit to the athletic department and the impressive job they have done in the last decade or so.
I'm sure the numerous sponsorships that Fenway Sports Group has helped BC lock have helped to boost revenues, along with the tv deals that came with joining the ACC.
