One of the things we've done for the upcoming season is try to make using the site as easy as possible. The reason is simple, we anticipate more people using the system since our fantasy game is FREE this season. One of the main reasons we made our fantasy game a premium service previously was because we couldn't support hundreds of leagues, and it remains a concern. Our hope is some of the changes we made will alleviate that concern.
This brings us to our newest feature, integration with Facebook Connect. Facebook Connect allows you to have one login that can be used for both Facebook and SCACCHoops.com. That means when a user creates a league or joins a league on SCACCHoops.com, they can simply use their facebook login. Further, if you're logged into Facebook, you're now automatically logged into SCACCHoops.com.
In doing this, it unlocks a number of features Facebook provides including making inviting people to play SCACCHoops.com easier than ever.
If you already have a SCACCHoops.com login, you can still link your account. All you need to do is login using your current account, and at the top of the page you will see a link that says "Click here to link your account to your Facebook account".
We are still brainstorming the other ways we can use the social networking functionality Facebook provides, but Facebook Connect provides a great start.
