The Boston College Men's Basketball Team will participate in the 2009 Paradise Jam held in the US Virgin Islands from November 20-23. Other teams in the tournament include St. Joseph's, Tennessee, DePaul, East Carolina, Northern Iowa, Purdue, and South Dakota State. The Eagles played in the tournament in 2003, claiming the title behind the tournament MVP Craig Smith.
BC is slated to play St Joseph's in the first round on Nov 20th at 7 pm.
In other BC basketball news, Biko Paris and Josh Southern helped out a local child by playing some hoops with him on campus. The segment was aired by WBZ-TV's weekly Child feature.
