The Naismith Hall of Fame has announced that Ty Lawson is the 2009 recipient of the Bob Cousy Award given to the best point guard in the country. Lawson who is the ACC POY and has been named to multiple All American teams as well as being the Most Outstanding Player in the South Regional, joins Raymond Felton as the only other Tar Heel point guard to win the award.
For those of you into good signs and what not, Felton went on to win the national title after receiving the honor. Just saying.
