Roy Williams was on the Dan Patrick Show this morning and said if Ty Lawson cannot at least go through a partial practice on Tuesday and a full one Wednesday he would not play versus 16th seeded Radford.
Probably a smart move. Going through practice will tell us whether Lawson’s toe gets aggravated by putting it through a workout. If he cannot handle practice, there is little need to risk him for the game. Roy also is a stickler about players being able to practice before a game when it is practical to do so. I think Lawson will end up playing on Thursday but keeping him out until Saturday is not a bad idea either.
