According to WRAL:
North Carolina point guard Ty Lawson left practice early on Friday after injuring his left, big toe. He was given a crutch to take the pressure off of the injury and taken for x-rays. The x-rays were negative and showed no break.
UNC sports information director Steve Kirschner confirmed the injury to WRAL and said Lawson ” is expected to practice tomorrow.”
But it’s not known how much, if any, Lawson will be limited because of the injury.
Well that figures. I am taking the statement that he is expected to practice to mean this is not a big deal.
