This just in from ACC Now...
N.C. State guard Trevor Ferguson is out three to six weeks with a non-displaced fracture of the bone behind the ring finger his left (non-shooting) hand, team spokesman Brian Reinhardt said Tuesday afternoon.
Trevor Ferguson had been playing quite well for NC State after joining the starting lineup the past few games. Ferguson was arguably NC State's best perimeter defender.
I would anticipate several players getting a chance to replace Ferguson in the starting lineup. CJ Williams likely has the best shot, although I would lean toward getting Dennis Horner more playing time at small forward and shifting Fells to the shooting guard.
AD Vassallo With the Steal
In other ACC News, AD Vassallo and former Hokie Chris Tucker have been implicated in shoplifting charges. Here are the details from roanoke.com...
Both have been charged with petit larceny shoplifting, a misdemeanor involving an item worth less than $200. The item was a 12-pack of Dr Pepper soda, police said. The trooper was in the store at the time of the incident, police said.
We'll have to check our records but with Vassallo's relative lack of defense on the court, this could be the first steal of his career. |
