Here are some similar outcomes of this injury that we found...Defending national player of the year Tyler Hansbrough has a stress reaction in his right shin and is sitting out practice indefinitely, UNC announced this evening.
- Catcher Joe Mauer missed just a few days
- Soccer player Ty Zantuck missed 4-6 weeks
- Michigan State's Raymar Morgan missed 5 weeks
It appears the time he will miss is largely dependent on the severity of the injury. I'm sure Tar Heel Fan will have more for us soon.
