Wow, we sure have seen some crazy shows within the NBA this past decade, haven’t we? The 2010s were phenomenal for basketball fans despite the fact that Shaquille O’Neal and other notable figures have retired during this period.

You might have noticed that NBA teams have a natural life cycle. Some of them rise to fame only to fall back down. However, they soon get back up on their feet and enter the game once again. Well, let’s take a look at the teams that saw the best return to form and the factors that influenced them during these past ±10 years.

The Latest Threat to Every Team: The Covid Pandemic

Before we get started, we have to get one thing out of the way. From the way things are going, it seems that the effects of the pandemic are far from over, even with several notable vaccines on the rise. As such, the future of these NBA teams isn’t set in stone. And people who want to support them will likely have to rely on purchasing their merchandise rather than buying tickets to matches.

These teams and sports venues that want to still stay afloat during uncertain times can always rely on things such as an automated marketing tool for gaming business to generate revenue from fans eager to place wagers on matches, predictions, virtual sports, fantasy leagues, and so forth. Now, with that out of the way, let’s see which were the most notable teams in the NBA this past decade.

Boston Celtics

There really aren’t many bad things to say about the Celtics. Their history is pretty clear.  Their team has produced a staggering 141 All-Star appearances, and 28 different Hall of Famers have spent at least one season playing for this famed team.

The Boston Celtics have participated in numerous championships, and it was very rarely that they sat down on the bench between said championships. The only team that has been in the finals more frequently than the Celtics are the LA Lakers, which says a lot considering the fact that the Lakers made Shaquille O’Neal the revered superstar that he came to be known as.

Furthermore, the amount of history that's unfolded on the parquet floors is almost unimaginable. Any fan can and will spend hours on end lecturing you about it.

Chicago Bulls

The team that made Michael Jordan famous deserves all the praise that it can get. Their bull logo is now just as iconic as the Statue of Liberty or the McDonalds golden arches. But it’s not only Jordan that has helped propel this team to new heights. Names like Scottie Pippen, Toni Kukoc, Horace Grant, Steve Kerr and plenty others come to mind.

While the team’s glory days aren’t as bright as they used to be, they still hold a solid place on any NBA fan’s list. What’s more, they’re the only team that up until 2017 haven’t had a single loss on the sport's biggest stage. Only one other team can laud themselves with such an accomplishment – the Sacramento Kings – and that’s thanks to their 1951 tenure as

the Rochester Royals.

Miami Heat

While they haven’t been around nearly as long as the other teams on this list, Miami Heat have managed to accomplish some truly amazing feats in their relatively short time within the NBA. LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Shaquille O’Neal (yes, we’re big fans as you can tell by now), and Dwayne Wade are just a few of the names that have made history during their time with Heat.

LA Lakers

One team to rule them all. The LA Lakers are probably the best known throughout the world, and for several good reasons. Prior to 2013, the Purple and Gold had watched the postseason from afar only five times. The playoffs haven't been a goal, so much as a realistic expectation year in and year out.  The fast pace is always a good reason to buy Lakers tickets.

And even when they have sat out of a championship or tournament, it was for good reason such as unexpected injuries and whatnot. With that said, the LA Lakers are true kings of basketball.
