Columbia guard Grant Mullins will have another year of eligibility if he chooses to exercise it.
ESPN's Jeff Borzello is reporting that Syracuse has contacted Columbia guard Grant Mullins about transferring.
Michigan, California, Syracuse and Hawaii are among the schools that have contacted Columbia grad transfer Grant Mullins.

The Ontario, Canada native was injured during his junior season. Mullins is choosing to leave Columbia due to the Ivy League's rule that disallows players a fifth year of eligibility for athletics.
The 6-foot 4, 175-pound guard was a starter for the 21-10 Lions this year and put up solid numbers on efficient shooting. Mullins put up those 13.3ppg on 47% shooting from the field, 44% from 3, and 83% from the free throw line. Mullins also put up 11.7 ppg as a sophomore in the 2013-2014 season.
He has also knocked down a total of 147 3-pointers over his three seasons at Columbia. That kind of shooting ability could help make up for the losses of Michael Gbinije and Trevor Cooney. Mullins scored 20 points including 3-4 from 3-point range in Columbia's win over UC-Irvine in the CIT Championship.
The Orange still will have one scholarship remaining if only the seniors leave after this year. If either Malachi Richardson or Tyler Lydon leave for the NBA that could open up some more scholarships. Syracuse is still recruiting Taurean Thompson very hard, and he should be making a decision soon.
