An in-state “sleeper” prospect has announced that he has committed to NC State.
Darius Hodge, a 6-foot-2, 217-pound linebacker from Wake Forest High School in North Carolina looks to be staying in-state and near home, as he will be heading to NC State and joining the Wolfpack.
Hodge might not be a nationally known prospect but could be a sleeper for the Wolfpack, as he also held offers from North Carolina, Pittsburgh, and Virginia.
Looking at the young man, he certainly stands out physically and Nick Stevens of HighSchoolOT mentioned that Hodges benches over 350 pounds, squats 500 pounds, and power cleans 275 pounds.
He also shows his speed on the field, running a 4.6 40.
Hodge is the sixth total commitment in 2017 for the Wolfpack and the second this week, joining Jacobe Clement from NC State, another in-state product.
