Let's take a quick trip around the ACC to see who may not be playing when the season kicks off on Friday night.

UNC - Leslie McDonald and PJ Hairston are still waiting to hear a ruling on their eligibity after summer news revealed they may have receive improper benefits.  JP Tokoto has also missed both exhibition games after playing in an unsanctioned summer league game.

Georgia Tech - Chris Bolden will miss the first 3 games of the season after receiving a DUI over the summer.  Jason Morris has a stress fracture in his foot and had surgery in mid-October.  Morris may be back for the season opener, but will have to catch up on conditioning so look for his minutes to be limited early in the season.

Virginia Tech - CJ Barksdale has been suspended for the first 3 games of the season for violation of team rules.

FSU - Ian Miller, Aaron Thomas, and Kiel Turpin didn't play in either of FSU's exhibition games.  When asked Leonard Hamilton said "You always come out of the summer with some housecleaning things you’ve got to take care of".  Hamilton didn't disclose how long the suspension would last.

NC State - Jordan Vandenberg injured his ankle in State's first exhibition game and will miss 4-6 weeks.

Maryland - Seth Allen broke his fifth metatarsal in his left foot and will miss 8-10 weeks

Duke - Rasheed Sulaimon missed Duke's second exhibition due to illness, although Mike Krzyzewski didn't give any indication that Sulaimon would miss the Blue Devils' opener against Davidson.
