NFL: Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens

There are more than enough candidates to consider for the pro football hall of fame.

In the article below are some of the best candidates and teams they were in during their NFL careers.

The pro football hall of fame allows placing bets on who makes the hall of fame. Fans can place bets on NFL odds on games and win money.

Players That Are Eligible For The Pro Football Hall Of Fame And The Teams They Played For

Joe Thomas OT, Brown

Thomas fits perfectly into the selection for the Hall of Fame. He was his team's primary starting left tackle for eleven years and he made 6 all-pro teams in Cleveland.

Thomas had 167 consecutive starts and he also played an NFL record 10,363 snaps at the beginning of his career.

Thomas was

James Harrison, OLB, Steelers/Bengals/Patriots

James Harrison is an AFC North superstar. He played in 15 NFL seasons, and 13 half seasons while with the Steelers.

James Harrison was named an Ap all pro because the Steelers won two super bowls during his time on the team. He was very useful to the team in the 2009 super bowl.

Dwight Freeney, DE, Colts/Chargers/Cardinals/Falcons/Lions/Seahawks

Freeney is another strong candidate who has a great chance of making it into the Hall of Fame. He came 26th in NFL history with 125.5 careers and he was also named an all-pro not once, but thrice during his career.

Freeney had seven seasons in which he had 10 sacks. Freeney played 16 years in the NFL. Freeney won one super bowl for the colts.

Darrelle Revis, CB, Jets/Buccaneers/Patriots/Chiefs

Darrelle was an excellent player when he was in his prime. He's still one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL for 5 years and he was named an all-pro four times.

Darrelle could have easily won a defensive player of the year in 2009 but he didn't.

He has a super bowl win on his resume. Darrelle stands a good chance of being in the hall of fame.

Jahri Evans, G, Saints/Packers

Jahri was one of the best guards during his time. He was a former fourth-round pick out of Bloomsburg in 2008. He earned four consecutive all-pro from 2009 through 2012.

He helped block for Drew Brees during his career and he spent his final days blocking for Aaron Rodgers. He made 183 starts and was strong for 12 years

Elvis Dumervil, DE, Broncos/Ravens/49ers

Elvis Dumervil wasn't a very consistent player as others on this list. He had 105.5 career sacks and he had a record of 17 sacks per season in two teams. The two seasons were five years apart(2009 and 2014).

Elvis Dumervil was named all-pro twice and he played for 11 years in the NFL. The one thing that stained his record was the fact that he never won a super bowl. He's still a perfect consideration for the pro football hall of fame.

Chris Johnson, RB, Titans/Jets/Cardinals

Chris Johnson was one of the eight players in the NFL to have a 2000-plus record. Johnson finished with a 9651, and a 55 rushing touchdown.

Kam Chancellor, S, Seahawks

Kam Chancellor was very useful to the Seahawks, and he helped his team in a victory over the broncos in super bowl 48. His career was cut short due to a neck injury.

His getting into the hall of fame could be hindered by these factors including the fact that he didn't make all-pro.

Carson Palmer, QB, Bengals/Raiders/Cardinals

Carson Palmer had a strong career and he played in three different teams. He had a record of 46.247 and recorded 294 touchdowns.

Carson Palmer never won an all-pro and he never won a super bowl during his career. He had a record of 4671 yards and 35 touchdowns.

Carson Palmer was an excellent quarterback.

Shane Lechler, P, Raiders/Texans

Shane played for 18 years in the NFL and was a good punter. He made six all-pro teams and led the NFL during his career. He had 51.1 yards per punt in the 2009 season.

Shane Lechler is one very good punter.
