Although Marshall transfer DeAndre Kane seems like he would be a perfect fit for Jamie Dixon and Pittsburgh, he’s definitely looking at other options.
According to Jeff Borzello, he’s visiting Iowa State today…maybe, probably.

Iowa State has had some success with transfers in the past, but Cyclone fans shouldn’t get too excited. The Kane situation changes often and quickly and if you’re not paying attention, you might miss something…something like the Memphis Tigers making a big push late…maybe, probably, who knows?

Personally, I’m not surprised more teams aren’t making an effort. Kane is a solid scorer, capable of creating his own shot, who averaged over 15 PPG every year he was at Marshall.
