Despite playing on the road against an opponent they've struggled with in each of their first two seasons in the ACC, Louisville is currently pegged as a 28-point favorite for this Saturday's noon game against Virginia. The line originally opened up at U of L -26.

The Cavaliers enter this week coming off a 35-14 home loss to North Carolina that dropped them to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in ACC play. UVA is also just 1-3 in home games this season, dropping contests against FCS foe Richmond (37-20) as well as ACC opponents Pitt (45-31) and UNC.

The good news for Virginia is that they've had surprising success against U of L in each of the past two seasons. In 2014, a ranked Cardinal team came to Charlottesville and was dealt a shocking 23-21 loss that was supposed to jump start the Mike London era. A year later the Cards put the final nail in that era with a tougher-than-expected 38-31 victory that guaranteed the Cavaliers would be home for the holidays once again.

Louisville has been favored to win all seven of its games this season, and easily covered last week's 19.5-point spread against NC State.
