Talking to the media at the 2023-24 ACC Tipoff, Miami head coach Jim Larranaga and star players Nijel Pack and Norchad Omier spoke about how the team-first concept has been key to the recent success that the Hurricanes' program has seen. Larranaga tells a story about how Isaiah Wong welcomed Pack and how they became good friends while Pack and Omier both talked about how welcomed they felt as transfers last season and how they think that attitude played a big part in helping the team reach the Final Four last season.
