Frank “Action” Jackson is on campus today in Durham for a very important visit for Duke Basketball. Coach K and company are working on securing the next piece to what could be a monster 2016 class that began with the commitment of 5 star small forward Jayson Tatum.
Duke has eyes for Jackson to cement a back-court and play alongside Derryck Thornton or should the talented point guard only stay in Durham one year then Jackson will take the keys to the big blue machine. Jackson is an ultra springy combo guard who is a dangerous scorer and always ready and willing dunk the basketball. He’s seen his stock rise this summer and Duke was paying attention, so much they made him a focus. If Coach K gets his druthers could Duke have a 6 man class of Jayson Tatum, Jackson, Harry Giles, Wenyen Gabriel and center Marques Bolden? Stranger things have happened obviously things would have to shift and move but one never knows.
I am not a scout or an insider but if I was a betting man which I’m not I would guess that Duke inks Giles, Jackson and Gabriel but again just a guess based on nothing but intuition.
