With 16 ACC games left in the regular season – and following an 0-2 start in league play - there's no reason for Clemson to hit the panic button.

If that record falls to 0-3 this afternoon, however, Brad Brownell's players will be a step closer to having a reason.

A disappointing home loss to Florida State a week ago was followed up by a road thrashing at Duke on Tuesday. With Virginia (11-4, 1-1 ACC) providing the opposition today at Littlejohn Coliseum, Clemson (8-6, 0-2) finds itself in need of a win in the worst way.

Clemson coach Brad Brownell will not need to solve any mysteries while preparing for Virginia, which will visit Littlejohn Coliseum on Saturday at noon.

“You know what you’re going to get with a Tony Bennett coached team,” Brownell said of Virginia‘s head coach, who is in his fourth season with the Cavaliers. “You’re going to get a great man-to-man defense, the Pack-line defense that his dad (Dick Bennett) really implemented so well at Wisconsin and Washington State.
