Virginia looks to run its winning streak to eight games as it hosts visiting Morgan State on Wednesday. The Cavaliers lost two of their first three games out of the gate before kicking off the current streak with a 50-point rout of Seattle. Virginia has held its last two opponents to under 40 points and has allowed more than 60 just twice this season. Since an opening-night loss to George Mason, Virginia has held opponents to less than 43 percent shooting from the field in nine straight. The Bears are coming off of an 87-68 loss to Illinois State that snapped a two-game win streak.

The game will be broadcast on the Virginia Sports Radio Network and webcast on ESPN3.
Virginia (8-2) extended its winning streak to seven games with a convincing 67-39 victory against Mississippi Valley State on Dec. 8. A road victory at Wisconsin (60-54) and home win vs. Tennessee (46-38) have highlighted Virginia's winning streak.
The Cavaliers are averaging 67 points per game and allowing 48 during the winning streak. Virginia is also limiting its opponents to 30 percent shooting from the field and 24 percent from three-point range during the streak.
