Boston College went 0-3 in the Charleston Classic, losing to No. 16 Baylor 84-74, Dayton 87-71 despite shooting 9-of-23 (.391) from 3-point range vs. the Flyers and at College of Charleston 71-67 ... leading scorer Ryan Anderson ,who averages 22.7 points and 10.3 rebounds, did not play in the College of Charleston game because of an injured foot ... Patrick Heckmann has averaged 15.5 points the last two games while making 7-of-10 three-pointers ... Lonnie Jackson added 14 points on 4-of-9 three-pointers at CofC to go along with five rebounds and three assists ... the Eagles went 10-of-29 from 3-point range vs. CofC ... on the season, Boston College is shooting 32.6 percent from 3-point range, but is 19-of-52 (.365) from behind the arc in its last two games ... BC shoots 45.2 percent from the floor and 75.6 percent from the foul line on the year ... the Eagles defeated FIU 84-70 in their season opener ... on the season, Heckmann adds 11.8 points coming off the bench all four games while shooting 64.3 percent (9-of- 14) from 3-point range ... Boston College returns four starters from last year's 9-22 team that tied for ninth in the ACC with a 4-12 record as the Eagles started four freshmen ... Ryan Anderson was a unani- mous All-ACC Freshman team selection last year averaging 11.2 ppg and 7.4 rpg.

Auburn-Boston College Series

This is the second meeting between Auburn and Boston College and the first since Dec. 23, 1985, when the Tigers de- feated the Eagles 89-85 in the champion- ship game of the Red Lobster Classic in Orlando, Fla., under former coach Sonny Smith.
