NC State picked up a transfer, Ralston Turner who is a 6'6" small forward who played his first two years at LSU.  Turner averaged over 10 points per game in his first 2 years at LSU.  Here's more from the News & Record on Turner...

LSU granted Turner a release from his scholarship last Wednesday to any school outside of the SEC, but he was undecided whether to stick with new Tigers coach Johnny Jones or choose another school.

Turner visited Raleigh over the weekend and chose to join coach Mark Gottfried and the Wolfpack on Monday.

Turner was recruited by Gottfried and his staff at Alabama in 2009 out of Muscle Shoals (Ala.) High, but the three-time All-State performer chose LSU early in the process.

He averaged 12.3 points a game as a freshman, earning SEC All-Freshman team honors, but took a bit of a step back to 9.1 points per game as a sophomore.

According to most recruiting experts, NC State may pick up another addition tomorrow afternoon.  Amile Jefferson is expected to pick between Duke and NC State.
