Last Week: 4-1  Overall: 69-22

Clemson vs. Georgia Tech

This game should be a lot of fun. Deshaun Watson is back, and running  the Clemson offense. The Tigers offense is a lot better with him under center. They also have the second best run defense in the ACC, but they are facing the Georgia Tech triple option offense, which averages 335 yards per game on the ground. I think Georgia Tech should still get the yardage on the ground, but considering the Yellow Jackets inability to make a stop on defense (second worst in the ACC in yards allowed), they are going to struggle to stop Deshaun Watson. Expect a shootout, but the Tigers will win on the road. Clemson 38, Georgia Tech 31

Virginia Tech vs. Duke

It's crazy how the times have changed.  For the longest time, Virginia Tech was on top of the ACC, and Duke was struggling to escape the basement. The last couple of years, it's been the other way around. Duke is sitting at 8-1, and are playing their first home game in nearly a month. They also just finished a stretch where they played four out of five on the road, and now finish the season with three games at home. Virginia Tech is 4-5, and have lost three in a row. If they lose here, they will need to win out to get to a bowl game. They will need a big game from Michael Brewer to do it. I thin k he will have a decent game, but I don't think it will be enough. Anthony Boone is a much better quarterback at home than on the road, and I think he will have a good game, and the running game will be efficient enough to pull out yet another impressive win. Duke 27, Virginia Tech 17

Pittsburgh vs. North Carolina

It wasn't long ago that we though that these two teams could be contenders for the ACC Coastal division title. Both of these teams need this win to get towards bowl eligibility. Strangely enough, UNC has allowed less than 500 yards two games in a row, which is a big deal for them. But they've also allowed over 200 yards rushing in a game four times this season, and they face one of the ACC's best running backs in James Conner, who likely top that mark in this game. But at the same time, Marquise Williams is the best dual threat quarterback in the ACC. He can run when needed, and he can obviously throw the ball well. I could see a lot of yardage being gained on the ground here for both teams. This could be a bit of a shootout, but I think the home team wins here. UNC 34, Pitt 31

Wake Forest vs. NC State

Don't look now, but NC State is one win away from bowl eligibility, which seemed laughable when they couldn't win an ACC game just a few weeks ago. The Wolfpack will also be happy to see a more normal offense this week after facing Georgia Tech's offense last week.  Personally, I was impressed with how Jacoby Brissett played last week, even though he probably should not have been left in the game as long as he was considering injury and score. Wake Forest is officially not eligible for a bowl game this year, and now they are just playing out the year.  The Wolfpack get win number six thanks to its running game, plus an efficient passing game from Brissett. NC State 24, Wake Forest 14

Florida State vs. Miami

People have been thinking for a few weeks now that Florida State would lose. First to Notre Dame, then to Louisville, and now this week to Miami. There's reason to believe it, mostly because of Duke Johnson going up against what is a mediocre run defense. And as much as people remember Miami's defenses of seasons past, they are third in the ACC in defense this year. But they have also struggled against some of the better offenses they've played this year, especially Georgia Tech and Nebraska. But they are also facing the best quarterback they have faced all season. Florida State's passing attack is the best in the ACC, and Jameis Winston is actually a better passer away from home. I wouldn't be surprised if surpasses the 300 yard mark here. Brad Kaaya hasn't thrown an interception in over a month, and he has improved a lot over the season. I think he will have a nice game too, but in the end, I think Jameis Winston will lead the Seminoles the victory in one of the more exciting games of the season. Florida State 31, Miami 28
