Wake Forest redshirt senior tailback Josh Harris has Tweeted good news regarding his request for reinstatement to the team for his final year of eligibility. In a brief message sent to Blogger So Dear, Harris confirmed that his waiver request was approved by the NCAA, and "I will be back tomorrow."

This news solidifies the running back position for Wake Forest, giving the Deacs a talented, experienced back to help Steed Lobotzke transition to a more balanced offensive attack.

"I am happy that the appeal was approved," said head coach Jim Grobe per an official release from Wake Forest.  "I am excited to get Josh into camp."

The Duncanville, Texas native has missed a week's worth of camp, with 20 days to go until the Deacs take on Presbyterian at BB&T Field. Harris' missed time in camp shouldn't be a conditioning issue, as he spent the summer in Dallas working out with childhood friend Deion Sanders, Jr., who plays football at Southern Methodist. Harris would occasionally Tweet pictures of him, post-workout, with NFL stars such at Emmanuel Sanders of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

"I'm very excited to join my teammates," Harris told Blogger So Dear. "I've been through a lot with them. It's only right that I finish my career with them."

Harris enters the 2013 season needing 443 yards to become one of the top 10 all-time rushers at Wake Forest, while two more touchdowns will put him in a tie for ninth all-time in career touchdowns.
