On Tuesday, Wake Forest learned that they are getting in on the action of recruiting for 2017, landing themselves a nice cornerback from Washington (D.C.).
Coby Davis, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect from Maret School that earned an offer from Wake Forest back on June 8.
He also had offers from schools like Army, Buffalo, Coastal Carolina, Fordham, Lehigh, Navy, Stony Brook, and Virginia.
Davis is the 10th commitment for Wake Forest in the 2017 recruiting class and is the second cornerback for the Deacons in the class, joining Troy Simon who committed just days before.
