Saturday’s game against the Fighting Irish has been moved to Sunday in Greensboro.

The water crisis in Chapel Hill has forced the men’s basketball game against Notre Dame that was originally scheduled for 6 pm on Saturday to be moved to Sunday. UNC will take on the Fighting Irish at the Greensboro Coliseum at 1:00 pm.

All tickets for the game will be honored in Greensboro, but parking passes will not. Parking at the Coliseum will be $10. Student tickets will also be honored. Gates will open at 11:30 am.

As of the time of the press release, the game is not set to be televised. They are trying to work on some kind of internet stream and could find a way to get it on television somewhere, but those details have not been ironed out. The game will also be available on the radio.

Chapel Hill’s water is not expected to be declared safe to drink for the next day or so. Classes were cancelled and university offices were closed as a result. Restaurants were also forced to close as the city declared a state of emergency. It was simply not safe to try and pack the city with Tar Heels fans under such conditions.

Update: ESPN News will broadcast the game.
