Two days before Christmas, and let’s see what’s happening around the ACC Blogoshphere.

Georgia Tech blog FromtheRumbleSeat puts together a fairly positive retrospective  of outgoing QB Tevin Washington.  For me Washington was a decent QB who was not athletically gifted which resulted in a lot of 5 yard runs that should have been 15 yard runs.

Washington was a smart player and with better talent around him could have had some great seasons at Tech, but he wasn’t able to elevate the players that were there. He never beat Georgia, and he’s never won a bowl game.

DukeSportBlog answers the whispers that the Duke basketball team might go undefeated.  Look Duke is a very good team, and one I think is the country’s  best team, but for those suggesting Duke might run the table is laughable. While the ACC lacks a second elite team, there is quality depth across the league. Even bottom feeder Boston College has a top 100 win over Providence and road win at Penn State. Duke won’t run the table, just forget it.

TarHeelFanblog looks at the Heels after their win over McNeese St.  I agree with what they are saying. Next Saturday’s game against UNLV will tell where the Heels are truly at.

ShakinintheSouthland is still struggling with Clemson’s loss to South Carolina…

I guess you know by now that Former Georgia Tech receiver Calvin Johnson has the set the NFL record for receiving yards breaking Hall of Famer Jerry Rice’s record. The ACC\SEC Blog has the story behind Megatron.
