Notes
- The Kentucky/New Mexico matchup wasn't close as Kentucky defeated New Mexico comfortably.
- North Carolina's matchup with Ohio State was closer, but the Heels rebounding prowess negated one of Ohio State's strengths and the Heels moved on to the championship game.
- In a rematch of the December matchup, North Carolina gets a little revenge and wins the national championship game in another tight matchup with Kentucky.
