Lonnie Jackson will miss Boston College's season opener against Providence on Friday night due to a hamstring injury according to CBS Sports.
Jackson averaged 8.7 points per game for Boston College last season and was one of BC's biggest 3 point threats.
In Jackson's absence, the Eagles will lose some of their backcourt depth. Steve Donahue will likely turn to experienced wing, Danny Rubin, or athletic freshmen, Garland Owens.
