Syracuse basketball begins play in Canada tonight

Syracuse begins play in Canada tonight as part of their international summer exhibition trip.  The Orange will play 4 games against Canadian colleges.  Syracuse will play tonight against McGill University in Montreal and stay in Montreal for one more game on Thursday.  They will then travel to Ottawa where they will play two more games on Friday and Saturday to complete their exhibition schedule.

For freshman and Candian Tyler Ennis, its a homecoming and a chance to show off his home country ot his teammates.  Read more about Ennis' homecoming.

Tonight, Syracuse will play in McGill University's 950-seat gym and will play by FIBA rules.  Its their first foreign trip since 1990.  The hope is that this trip will help with team chemistry and get the freshmen acclimated more quickly.
