According to Jeff Ermann at InsideMDSports.com, Alex Len will declare for the NBA draft.

It should be no surprise that Len is headed to the NBA.  While he's had an inconsistent sophomore season, Len's potential is easily seen.

Len's departure shouldn't hurt the Terps too much in the frontcourt.  Shaq Cleare and Charles Mitchell had solid freshman seasons and if they can take a step forward in the offseason the Terps should be fine down low.  The area for concern will be defending the rim where Len was a solid shot blocker.  Neither Cleare nor Mitchell proved to be guys that are able to protect the rim at the college level.
