According to Paul Garber at JournalNow.com, Wake Forest basketball player Melvin Tabb is facing criminal charges that includes breaking and entering, possession of stolen goods, and obtaining property by false pretenses.

A warrant was drawn Tuesday by Wake Forest University police charging Tabb, 19, a rising sophomore fromRaleigh, with three crimes — felony breaking and entering, possession of stolen goods, and obtaining property by false pretense, Wake Forest spokesman Kevin Cox said.

The charges stem from an on-campus incident in June, Cox said. As of 3 p.m. the warrant had not been served.

There is no indication that Ty Walker is facing any charges at this time.

Tabb has officially been released from Wake Forest University, ending speculation from message boards, and fans alike.

Coach Jeff Bzdelik said Tabb has been released from Wake Forest.

"I don't exactly when it was but it was a few days ago," Bzdelik said of Tabb's release

We wish Melvin Tabb the best in his future endeavors and hope that he can learn from this and catch on somewhere else to put his career (and life back together).
