Good afternoon Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) sports fans.  As we head into the new academic year, you’ll note that we added two outstanding higher educational institutions to the ACC this year in Pittsburgh and Syracuse.  We at SCACCHoops are good neighbors.  Therefore, we want to introduce you to some good folks to follow on Twitter.  Our first installment was for Pittsburgh.  Our second installment will be for Syracuse.  We thank @BH_Orange44 for his recommendations for this blog post.  

We’ll have three sections in this post, which includes 25 Twitter accounts.  First, we will present some bloggers.  Second, we will present the mass media.  Third, and finally, we’ll introduce our fellow fans from Syracuse to some ACC blogger accounts that are must follows (these folks will really give you a terrific introduction to the ACC).

  1. @NunesMagician  - Sean Keeley runs SB Nation’s site, Nunes Magician, which covers the Syracuse Orangemen athletic programs.  
  2. @OrangeFizz - The Twitter home of Orange Fizz , a key source for Syracuse hoops and football recruiting news, and Orange Fizz Radio on @TheScore1260 (Sat. 9-10am).
  3. @SaltineWarriors - This is the official Twitter account of Inside The Loud House, a Syracuse fan site. Inside The Loud House is a member of the FanSided Digital Sports Network.
  4. @NationOfOrange - A major source for Syracuse Basketball, Football and Recruiting News
  5. @OttosArmy - Otto's Army is the student section of Syracuse University Athletics.
  6. @CuseCountry - Cuse Country is a Orange fan site.
  7. @JaredSmithCNY - Jared Smith blogs about Syracuse football and men’s for  @NunesMagician.
  8. @BH_Orange44 - Brian Harrison is a 2005 Syracuse and a 2009 Western New England Law graduate.  He blogs about Syracuse Athletics at Orange 44, the oldest Syracuse blog on the internet.
  9. @HoyaSuxa - Hoya Suxa covers Syracuse Lacrosse at SBNation’s lacrosse site, College Crosse.

  1. @MikeWatersSYR - Mike Waters is a college basketball writer at Syracuse.com and the Post-Standard.
  2. @WAERSports - The Original Home of the Orange. Full coverage of Syracuse Football, Men's Basketball & Men's Lacrosse in Central New York. Broadcasting on 88.3 FM since 1947.
  3. @BrentAxeMedia - Brent Axe is the Syracuse.com  Engagement Specialist. He is also on ESPN Radio Syracuse. He is the former radio host on The Score 1260 in Syracuse and Buffalo Bills Radio Network. He is also an AP voter.
  4. @McAllisterOnFox - Mike McAllister is the Syracuse recruiting analyst for @FOXSportsNext and publisher for @CuseNationFox.
  5. @TheJuiceOnline - The Inside Look at Syracuse Athletics, Part of the @SNYtv Blog Network.
  6. @cnylacrosse - Syracuse University men's lacrosse news, along with other lacrosse news and updates from @syracusedotcom and @PostStandard.

  1. @scacchoops - Jon Pence is the creator of SCACCHoops and a contributor on #ACCLive on The ACC Digital Network.  He’s one of the guys I work for.
  2. @ACCSports - Jim Young is the editor of ACC Sports - he provides the most up-to-date news and analysis on ACC football and basketball.
  3. @d1scourse - Patrick Stevens covers ACC college football, basketball and lacrosse for the Syracuse Post-Standard.
  4. @TheDevilWolf - I don’t think we can do better than quoting Ben Swain directly:  “Co-host of the critically acclaimed Walk-Ons podcast. Writer. Joke maker. 2012 Belk Bowl attendee. ACC xenophobe.”
  5. @DobberSBN - SB Nation’s Bracketologist - a must follow.
  6. @RunTheFloor - Michael Rogner is the founder of Run the Floor, and basketball editor for Tomahawk Nation.  One of the most important folks to follow for college basketball.
  7. @raphiellej - Raphielle Johnson is one of the lead contributors at @CBTonNBC and is a must follow for Syracuse college basketball fans.
  8. @TalkinACCSports - Jeffrey Fann is the owner and site manager (and one of the guys I work for) at All Sports Discussion.

This blog post should get you ACC fans ready for Syracuse’s inaugural season in the ACC (and should help Orange fans navigate the ACC).
