Syracuse Hosts Adrian In Exhibition Finale

Syracuse wraps up its preaseason schedule tonight, as Adrian College visits the Carrier Dome.

Before the Syracuse Orange men's basketball team begins its 2014-15 regular-season campaign they will play their preseason finale Monday night (7 p.m. on Time Warner Cable Sports).

The Adrian Bulldogs, a Division III program from Michigan, will be SU's final foe before playing games that actually count. Adrian finished last season with a 5-20 overall record and is lead by head coach Mark White, who is entering his sixth season as the Bulldogs head man.

Junior guard Rickey Jackson Jr. paced the Bulldogs in conference scoring last season with 12.4 point per game. Junior forward Ben Rodak was Adrian's top rebounder, while senior guard Curtis Gordon is the team's veteran point guard. The team's best player could be junior guard Eric Lewis, who was named First Team All-Conference in 2012-13, but missed most of last year with an injury.

Syracuse's final preseason game is expected to be a tune-up for the Orange, who will begin its regular season this Friday against visiting Kennesaw State (7 p.m.). Tonight's showdown should be a bit easier than last week's battle against Carleton University, which gave SU all its got in 76-68 loss at the Carrier Dome.

If you're a 'Cuse fan that does not get Time Warner Cable Sports, you can listen to the game via Syracuse IMG Radio Network or get a daily subscription to Orange All-Access.
