Because we're all thinking the same thing, here's something to potentially help set your mind at east about Syracuse's bigtime quarterback prospect.
There are no guarantees in the world of college football recruiting.
So it's fair for Syracuse Orange fans to be very excited about the news that QB recruit Timmy DeVito made the cut at the Elite 11 camp and now heads to The Nike+ Football Opening Finals at Nike world headquarters to showcase himself among the best recruits in the nation. But it's also fair for Syracuse fans to begin wondering whether or not DeVito sticks around for the long haul. There's a lot of time between now and the 2017 football season and a lot of schools who are probably more interested in him today than they were last week.
It's impossible for DeVito to quell all of those fears but he did his best on Monday, telling reporters that he's about as firmly committed as one can be to the Orange.
And Syracuse fans will like this. QB commit Tommy DeVito said he isn't speaking with other schools. He's "100,000%" set on SU.

Somewhere, a Syracuse fan is wondering "Why didn't he says 1,000,000%? What's he hiding?"
Plenty of What-Ifs ahead regarding not only DeVito but also Eric Dungey and the other QBs on the roster or soon to be on the roster. But in terms of Dno Babers's staff and their recruiting ability, Devito is helping to prove SU fans have nothing to worry about.
