Details of Friday's Orange Madness have been released. Get ready to get your Trevor Cooney face on Orange Nation.

Ever wanted to take a picture of you doing a Trevor Cooney face with Mr. Trevor Cooney Face himself? You may get your chance at this year's Syracuse Orange madness, a report by Syracuse.com's Donna Ditota suggests.

According to SU athletic department marketing director Marc Donabella this year's Orange Madness, which will take place this Friday at 8 p.m., will feature no musical guest or a German Juggling Boy (thank god) but will have a bunch of photo booths that will allow fans to take pictures with men's and women's players.

What else will be at Orange Madness? A dunk contest for one. That dunks contest will feature current players and, maybe, a SU student.

SU has invited students to submit videos depicting their dunking ability. Particularly creative or impressive dunk resumes might earn the dunker a spot in the dunk contest with SU players.

"If we see some good dunks," Donabella said, "we'll invite them on the court."

SU, too, will sponsor a shooting contest featuring two Syracuse students, each paired with a men's player, a women's player and a legend. Teams must sink shots from beneath the basket, the free throw line, the 3-point arc and half-court.

SU students can win chances to shoot with players and will participate in other random contests.

"This year, it's all about the students," said Ben Glidden, the PR director of Otto's Army. "They want to get the students out to the event and show some appreciation, so they're giving us all these opportunities. It's not so much an incentive to get us there as it is a thank you for supporting the team."

Jim Arthur Boehim will arrive to the Carrier Dome via Commander and Chief style as he will be escorted by Fort Drum soldiers.

A non-SU student will get a chance to make a $10,000-half course shot and, of course, there will be a scrimmage too.

Teams will play basketball -- The men's and women's teams will scrimmage. SU legends will scrimmage, too.

So far, the list of committed legends includes: Derrick Coleman, John Wallace, Lawrence Moten, Pearl Washington Ryan Blackwell, Terrence Roberts, Eric Devendorf, Matt Gorman.

Gates to the Carrier Dome open at 7 p.m. The event is free to SU students with proper ID and $5 for non-SU students.
