Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon landed a second guard in the 2014 class, when shooting guard Dion Wiley committed to the Terrapins today.
Per @insidemdsports, Dion Wiley (@noshawties) has committed to the #Terps. The sharpshooter is a huge pickup for '14.

Wiley is the second 4-star recruit to join Maryland (ESPN has him as a 5-star guy). The other was 4-star combo guard Romelo Trimble (who committed back in December of last year). As a junior, Wiley averaged an impressive 17.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 3.2 steals.
At 6-4/195, Whiley is a pure scorer, capable of attacking the basket or hitting from deep. He’s a solid ball handler who can use both hands and he’s even improving as a defender.
What this latest commitment means to Maryland is that it just goes to show how important Mark Turgeon’s hiring of Dalonte Hill was. He was the guy who was suppose to deliver the D.C. area and he’s certainly proved his worth as he has helped to deliver Wiley, Trimble and in the 2013 class, Roddy Peters.
This trio could be a deadly backfield once the Terrapins head into Big Ten play.
