The face of Virginia Tech football, Frank Beamer announced Sunday that he will retire at the end of the 2015 football season. I’m sure my blog partner @Hokiesmash will have plenty of thoughts on this. For me, I’ll always remember for just over 10 years from the late 90s to 2011 how good Virginia Tech was. The Hokies were one of the most physical teams in the country, and the special teams were always feared.
The Hokies dominated ACC football for years winning 4 of 7 conference titles from 2004 to 2010. Good luck to you Mr. Beamer in your retirement!
