Every program sees their hot and cold streaks in the recruiting world.  Sometimes, it may seem like forever when a program receives a commitment from a player.  At other times, it seems that it is just one after another.

RailsFlorida State is on the hot train right now with recruiting, landing some prime targets for 2018 and 2019.  Take a look at the most recent commitments.

Chaz Neal
6’7, 253 pounds
Defensive End
Armwood HS, Florida

Neal is an in-state prospect that committed to the Seminoles on Thursday.  He is ranked as the No. 162 prospect in the state of Florida and a three-star defensive end, who also held offers from Maryland, Oregon, South Carolina, USC, USF, and others.  He recently camped at Florida State on Thursday, earning his offer from the Seminoles.  He immediately committed.

John Huggins
6’2, 200 pounds
Safety
Mainland HS, Florida

Huggins is a three-star product that was highly coveted by several programs around the country, holding over 30 offers according to 247Sports.  He recently took an unofficial visit this past Wednesday to Tallahassee and announced his commitment on Friday. He is the first safety to commit to Florida State in the class of 2018.

Akeem Dent
6’0, 170 pounds
Cornerback
Palm Beach Central HS, Florida

Dent is a huge get for the Seminoles for their upcoming 2019 recruiting class.  He is ranked as the No. 2 prospect in the state of Florida, No. 1 overall cornerback in the nation, and No. 5 nationally by 247Sports.  He held several offers but recently camped on Friday in Tallahassee and announced his commitment on the same day.

“It’s the best move for me,” Dent told All Things ACC.
