Florida State learned two more players that will be declaring and leaving the program early, as Xavier Rathan-Mayes announced on Thursday afternoon and Jonathan Isaac announced on Friday.
Jonathan Isaac, a freshman forward, announced on Friday that he would be entering his name into the NBA Draft, a decision that was pretty certain by many.
He is currently projected as a lottery pick by several outlets. He announced his decision in a video posted on social media.
"I’ve decided to enter the 2017 NBA draft," Isaac said. "I’d like to thank all of Florida State for making my time here worthwhile. And a special thanks to all you fans and FSU’s amazing staff … I know this season didn’t end as well as everyone expected but I’m extremely proud of what this team accomplished. And I’m honored to be a part of the Seminole basketball family. I’d like to thank my coaches and my teammates for helping me get through a tough season. And to all of the fans who supported us through all the ups and downs, I hope you choose to support me on my journey to the next level. Thank you and Go 'Noles!"
Isaac averaged 12.0 points per game and 7.8 rebounds for the Noles, as he was named to the All-ACC Freshman team.
