Class of 2018 athlete Marcus Riley, who claims a scholarship offer from Florida among others, committed to Louisville Thursday night.

Riley plays for Rickards High in Tallahassee, and rocketed to local stardom with a monster sophomore season in 2015. His talents were best on display in his team's city championship game, where he accounted for 556 total yards and all seven of his squad's touchdowns.

The quarterback that didn't even start the game, first used his legs, then used his arm to burn Godby's defense time and again Friday night at Cox Stadium.

It allowed Rickards to storm back from a 21-6 deficit to win 49-42.

But it was only done because Riley threw four second-half touchdown passes and rushed for another 86-yard touchdown.

He finished with a whopping seven combined touchdowns after running in a 53-yard score and passing for another in the first half.

He was the hero Rickards needed to secure a spot in the Class 5A playoffs and claim a city title.

Riley amassed 556 offensive yards: 316 passing, 219 rushing and 21 receiving.

"He's special. He's really amazing," Raiders coach Quintin Lewis said. "He's a great football player, but the thing is he'll do whatever you ask him to do. If he's asked to sit on the bench, he'll do it. Great character guy."

Riley went on to earn second team All-State honors while leading his team to an undefeated record in city play.

Here's his speed on display:

Rickards is the same high school that former Cardinal RB great Kolby Smith attended.
