Syracuse's head coach gave no update on the long-term status of his injured freshman on Monday. Though he did hint he'd be out for at least Tuesday's game versus Wake Forest.

If you were clicking this link to find out whether or not Syracuse Orange freshman forward Chris McCullough would be okay for the remainder of the season after suffering a knee injury in Sunday night's 70-57 victory over the Florida State Seminoles. Welp, you're going to be disappointed.

During his weekly ACC coaches teleconference at noon Monday, Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim said there was no update on McCullough's injury, however, he did hint on lineup adjustments for Tuesday's showdown with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. That will give you an indication that McCullough will miss at least one game.

McCullough was injured when he was trying to receive a long cross-court pass from guard Michael Gbinije in transition. The rest is shown below:

In his absence Sunday Syracuse relied on senior Rakeem Christmas to carry the full load inside. That was until Christmas committed his fourth foul with about eight minutes to go in regulation and sophomore center Chinonso Obokoh entered the game. His time was short, however, as he tallied three fouls in less than two minutes, which also featured FSU going on a small 7-3 run that cut the Orange lead from 14 to 10 points.

Meanwhile, sophomore forward B.J. Johnson hasn't seen any action during ACC play. Johnson struggled to find any consistency during his early-season action and when Boeheim decided to trim down his play-time roster he was left out.

Chris McCullough backups Class Ht. Wt. MPG PPG
So. 6'8" 212 23.2 6.9
B.J. Johnson So. 6'7" 185 17.3 5.2
Chinonso Obokoh So. 6'9" 215 6.1 1.4

Overall, McCullough had been averaging 9.3 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. Though, his stats are a bit deceiving seeing he hasn't scored more than 10 points since a Dec. 6 loss to the St. John's Red Storm.

Not knowing McCullough's status right away is a cause for concern, but Syracuse fans at least know nothing awful has been announced yet.
